Notes – Tips for Use
- The site represents an online work and not a scholarly paper in the true sense, even though meticulous attention is paid to the correctness of the information and any plagiarism is avoided. Source references can be provided for all posts if needed to create a scholarly-academic framework.
- The editorial responsibility (also within the meaning of the EU AI Act 2024) for the texts etc. presented on this site lies exclusively with the site creator. Photos, insofar as they have been edited to a relevant extent, contain an AI notice in the form of a green pickelhaube and the lettering “Ai”.
- Access to some pages and data is password-restricted for reasons of protecting the respective areas or at the personal request of responsible persons, or is reserved for registered members. If you wish access, please write a message via the contact form and provide some tangible information about yourself and the reason for your interest.
- Some topics offer interactive geoinformation such as topo/position maps or waypoints. The links to this data are each marked with the symbols “xxx Map” and “xxx WP” and contain the note “Download file“. The data can be used, for example, via Google Earth by clicking the link and selecting “Open with Google Earth” in the window that opens. The data is then displayed as an overlay at the corresponding position on the Google Earth map. Due to the size of the files, it may take a little while for them to be displayed.
- Subscribing to the blog works via the RSS feed linked in the right sidebar of the blog. You can link the RSS feed with all standard mail clients, such as MS Outlook, or with special RSS readers. There are dozens of programs for PC as well as for Android or other platforms. For Windows, for example, you can use the free program Readiy, and for Android there is, for example, the reader Feedly.
